Notice of Unscheduled Commission Vacancy

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Sierra Madre resident to serve his or her community as a volunteer on the Community Services Commission.

There is one (1) partial term currently available, set to expire June 30, 2008.

Qualifications
The Community Services Commission acts as a communication link between the citizens, City Council and the Community Services Director in all matters pertaining to parks and public recreation and to cooperate with other governmental agencies and civic groups in the advancement of sound park and recreation planning and programming. The Commission meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers.

To apply for the Community Services Commission, obtain an application from City Hall, Community Services, and the Public Library or online at www.ci.sierra-madre.ca.us. Completed forms may be mailed, faxed, or hand-delivered to City Hall or Community Services. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
