Fire update, Mon. 5:45 p.m.

I ran into a friend this morning in town, and he mentioned a photo he took on Saturday night. It’s a dramatic photo that captures our town center, with the flames ominous in the hills above. Thanks for sending it in, Jim!

I can’t see any smoke from my window right now, but as we learned last night, this doesn’t necessarily mean anything. The air smells less smoky, too.

I haven’t received any new press releases, but I did find a worthwhile section on the Pasadena Star-News site. The Google map is helpful, and if you scroll down to “More News,” you’ll see the most recent story about the new evacuation areas in Pasadena and more. There is also information about the Sierra Madre folks who can go home now.

And here’s a link to SierraMadreNews.net, where Bill Coburn refuses to sleep.
