Voter Information Available at Sierra Madre Public Library

To help voters reach decisions for the June 8 primary election day, the Sierra Madre Library offers free, concise, non-partisan information on candidates and ballot issues facing Californians at the polls.

The “Easy Voter Guide” contains information on the California candidates for governor, for the United States Senate, and for other state-wide offices, as well as information on Propositions 81 and 82, and details on the voting process in general. This “quick guide” is a collaboration of the California Secretary of State’s Office, the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund, and the California State Library, with additional support from the James Irving Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation.

A cassette recording of the “Official California Voter Information Guide,” an audio version of the print guide mailed to registered voters throughout California, is available for three-day checkout.

The Sierra Madre Public Library is located at 440 West Sierra Madre Boulevard in Sierra Madre. For further information on services and programs please use the Library’s web site at www.sierramadre.lib.ca.us or call the Library at (626) 355-7186.
