“This is an example of a low-cost high-impact service that the police department and city staff can offer to the city, and it is one of several that we plan to offer in the future,” Chief of Police Marilyn Diaz said.
From the press release: “Parents and children will meet at different locations throughout the City on seven consecutive Saturdays, beginning June 24 - August 5, 2006 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Registration for the program is now being accepted for this amazing program with the Community & Personnel Services Department.
