Summer Fun in the Park kicks off

Today was the first day for “Summer Fun in the Park,” hosted by the Community & Personnel Services Department and the Sierra Madre Civic Club.

Starting today and continuing each Tuesday and Thursday until Thursday, August 31, have fun with interactive and educational programs — all free of charge — at the bandshell in Memorial Park from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday programs
July 11: Folk Dancing
July 18: STAR Education African Drums Fest
July 25: Heal the Bay- Marine Experience
August 1: Creative Arts Group Collage for Kids
August 8: Kidspace- Eight Eyed Super Freaks
August 15: Lisa Spigai-Perez- Guest Reader
August 22: SCLT Musical Theater Mini Concert
August 29: Parrots, Pirates, and Magic- Oh My!

Thursday programs
Each Thursday from July 13 to August 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., come GET ACTIVE with CATZ - Competitive Athletic Training Zone.
