Primer: General Municipal Election approaches

With major issues like downtown development and the town’s fiscal future looming, seven candidates face off this Tuesday in a General Municipal Election for three available seats on the City Council.

When: Tuesday, April 11; polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM
Overview: There are seven candidates for three available seats on the Sierra Madre City Council. The top three candidates with the most votes will get the seats. Mayor George Maurer, Council Member Rob Stockly and incumbent Mayor Pro Tem Tonja Torres all have seats up for grabs.
